Until not long ago Argaka's main function was agricultural which is still clearly noticeable. Even during the almost unbearable heat of July and August the Argaka fields look fresh and green. All year round and the hills are beautifully covered with citrus trees.

The beach of Argaka is a mix of sand and small soft pebbles. During July, August and September there are 2 sea turtle species nesting on these beaches: the Caretta-Carreta and the bigger and more endangered Green Turtle. The sea is crystal-clear, unbelievably blue and warm until at least the end of November.

On the other side of the village, up in the hills, another natural delight unfolds: the Pafos Forest. The dense pinewood forest tickles the senses with its significant odour, singing birds and the sight of moufflons - if you are lucky.

Basic shopping is available in Argaka. There is a supermarket and there are several restaurants and bars.

The plot itself is 300m from the sea in an excellent position which would be an ideal plot for custom built villa.

For all your other needs you can go to Polis Chrysochous which is only 9 km away and offers a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars and amenities like banks, medical support and business facilities. Pafos, the capital of the district, is at a distance of 40 km, Pafos International Airport another 10 km away.
