Mandria is a very attractive village with a real buzz about it especilaly when it comes to the evening as the tavernas are busy with locals and tourists alike enjoying the reasonably priced fare. There is a weekly fruit and vegetable market every Wednesday afternoon where you can buy the locally grown produce straight from the farmers. Each September the village hosts its own Peanut Festival when everyone joins in for the music and food and peanuts of course as the locals celebrate another successful harvest! The village is in a very convenient location close to the Paphos airport (5kms) and Paphos itself which is only a 10 minute drive away.
